Hastings Ranch Photoshoot

The Hastings Ranch & Farm has become a venue close to my heart. The Hastings Family is such a loving family that I have known for a long time. I went out to their farm about a year and half ago because I had a bride getting married there in the future. And when I drove in, I was a little taken back to say the least. It was just an old run down barn with cows still in it & farm equipment everywhere!! Debbie & George were just as welcoming to the farm as they could be and they were so excited I was there, you could see it in their eyes (you could probably see tears in mine). So it began, George, Debbie and I spent almost a whole day out there while they drove me around and described to me what their dream for the place was, they had everything from floors to tables to chandeliers mapped out. They kept saying "are you following" and I would just nod with my eyes as big as the moon. I followed their progress and continued to go out there and give them ideas and encouragement. Every time I went out there I was so shocked by the progress they were making... and it was literally word for word what they had told me months before. They were so eager to have that barn finished that they worked day and night to make it match their vision. To this day, I am still wowed at what they have done. Its hard to imagine what it used to be. It is a beautiful barn that will just take your breath away when you walk into it, along with land that is nothing like you've seen before. The one thing I love about the venue is all the things you can do with it, the options are endless!!

That is the main reason I decided on the Hastings Ranch for this photoshoot, I wanted to give brides the visual that you can do anything at this venue. Turn it into what you want and dream of. Yes it is a barn venue but that doesn't mean your ideas have to stop there.

Check out this industrial copper and marble inspired theme we did there! It works so well at the venue and it is seriously gorgeous, industrial meets outdoors. The tables were jaw-dropping with the marble chargers, mixed matched plates, copper flatware & the gorgeous greenery with those succulent filled geometrical shapes... I mean, HECK YES!! We had such an amazing team of vendors that just brought our vision to life. We used many different locations at the venue for ceremony and reception and that wasn't even all the options (the outside reception area is my favorite). Seriously if you have never been to the Hastings Ranch you need to put it at the top of your to-do list and go see it for yourself or better yet be sure to head over to their Facebook page for their upcoming fall festival dates!
